The client in question marketed a treatment for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding (HMB). The objective tools available for detecting HMB are costly and/or difficult to use. This means that the diagnosis is based on the woman’s subjective experience, leading this condition to go under-diagnosed. 

We developed a scale for the detection of HMB with a group of 13 experts. We validated it linguistically with a group of patients and psychometrically by means of a national multicentre study.
