What did Adelphi Targis provide?
Our client received a request from the SEC (Sociedad Española de Cardiología [Spanish Cardiology Society]), SEMERGEN (Sociedad Española de Médicos de Atención Primaria [Spanish Society of Primary Care Doctors]) and the SEMG (Sociedad Española de Médicos Generales y de Familia [Spanish Society of General Practitioners and Family Doctors]) to set up two protocols for the remote management of patients with heart failure/ischaemic heart disease and how these visits should be handled by primary care doctors and/or clinical cardiologists depending on patient condition and therapeutic approach. Legal advice was also included, provided by a Law Professor in order to define the remote consultation legal framework clearly.
Adelphi Targis coordinated all the stages of the project, including:
- Communication with the project coordinator
- Communication and the request for an endorsement by the medical societies involved
- Communication with the project’s multidisciplinary task forces
- Communication with the legal affairs expert
- Coordination of all the parties involved and the implementation of comments/approvals
- Production of documentation and graphical material
